What retailer will you be buying your Evo 3D from?

Those that already got the Best Buy Pre-Order, will you be returning the 50 dollar gift card to order online from Sprint? I'm contemplating this considering I don't want to be sitting around on the 22nd and 23rd if others do end up getting the E3D before launch day.

I already returned my card to BB for cash. If it is within 100 days of purchase, they refund the money. If you have enough time and the inclination, keep the card until you make the jump.

I'm going to be in the hospital for a routine procedure on launch day. :( I'm going to try to have my Wife go down to Best Buy & pick it up. If not, I'll just have to wait until I'm out the following Tuesday or order one over-the-phone with Sprint.

As long as there are not shortages I'll just get one from the Sprint store. I'd prefer not to go through Best Buy for personal reasons.

If you are a Premier member you can order it on the 21st and have it at your door on the 22nd. So you can play with it while recovering.

Through Sprint? If so, this would be fantastic.
Do I just call them today? Or do I call them on the 21st?

Check it out:

Ok, another question. How can I be sure I get that Email? I know I am a premier Gold customer but I don't routinely get Emails from Sprint.

You might want to sign up for the EVO 3D emails from Sprint's EVO 3D page if you haven't already. From their wording, it doesn't sound like you *need* the email, though; you should just be able to order it if you're signed into your account.

Thank you! I am signed up for those Emails so if I don't get one I'll just do it through Sprint.com or I'll call them. Thanks again! It's going to make the last week of my somewhat unpleasant hospital stay much easier haha...

My plan is to stay up late on the 20th to see if it goes live on the 21st. I may get up early too on the 21st also. I won't be able to sleep knowing it is ready to order ;)

Same here. Maybe we'll be up together that night on the forums? We'll see. ;)

EDIT:
I now have my Evo3D pre-ordered through a local Sprint store, through Best Buy, and through my Gold Premier Sprint account. Hahaha...

Well I have no idea if this is true or not but a Sprint rep just told me even though it can be ordered on the 21st that by the time there shipped that no ones probably going to get them till the 24th anyway which is the official launch day and that is when they can be activated. But he did say if by chance you were to get it before the 24th which is doubtful they can't not allow you to activate it. I'll just get mine in the store on the 24th I already pre ordered. Even though the Sprint Warehouse is here in Kentucky so I would assume mine would be here the next day. That is just what I was told.

I forgot to ask the Sprint rep just now on the phone about the mail in rebate. I have a pre order in with Sprint and bought an EVO yesterday for 150 no MIR. I was told all I have to do is exchange the EVO for the 3D within 30 days and pay the restocking fee and of course the difference on the pho9ne which is 50 bucks and I have my gift card. I didn't have to do a MIR yesterday so if I exchange on the 24th will they charge me an extra 100 and make me do the MIR now?

Called a few RS and they all said their unable to do Sprint Premier early release for on June 21st.

I guess the question now is are you guys going to get it early and deal with Sprints MIR, or wait till Friday and get it through RS or BestBuy?

Thanks for the feedback everybody! I was thinking Sprint store myself but wasnt sure if there were advantages to go to an outside retailer....

The only clear advantage I can think of in terms of buing it from BB or RS instead of Sprint, is that if you want to return it and get something else within 30 days, Sprint charges a $35 restocking fee. BB DOESN'T charge any restocking fee, not sure about RS.

That's while I'm getting mine from BB, already pre-ordered and am #1 on the list. That way if I don't like it or the 3D causes me some problems or discomfort, I can return it for something else and not have to pay the $35 restocking fee that Sprint would charge.

Hello,

I am trying to find the best deal with the EVO 3D.

I thought Wirefly might be the case because they don't charge taxes, have free shipping, and are offering it for 179.99. However, I just got off the phone with a representative who told me they only include the phone and battery. That means no wall charger or headphones. This is not such a good deal if this holds true. I will say that the sales guys didn't even know he had an EVO 3D up for sale, so I don't know what to think.

I've heard Best Buy and Radio Shack will tax you on the full price of the phone, not the $200 but the $500-$600 or whatever the full price is.

Sprint is the only store that does not tax you on the full price. Instead they will tax you on the $200.

So do I pay $20 or $50 on taxes? Or no taxes but no wall charger or headphones?

I currently have my phone pre-ordered with Radio Shack but might opt for the 21st pre-order on Sprint date because of the taxes. Taxes are 10% where I live.

I did not know that...That's lame.
