OH
Another site is sporting a photo of a document that says, while there is no fix right now for the reboot, there is one coming the 2nd half of June. All I can say is, it can't come soon enough!!

Added: Sorry, I wasn't sure of the rules in posting that info, as I have never done it before. And I didn't realize I forgot to state the reboot issue. Android Central posted a document stating that a fix for the reboots was coming the 2nd half of June.

What picture?

What site?

What fix?

All of those things would be nice to know.

Fixes I need to see:

1) Stock news reader won't sync or let me unsubscribe from anything.
2) Remove yellow spot in middle of photos.
3) Allow for removal of Blockbuster app.
4) Offer better organization of bookmarks.

I run the phone stock, unrooted. Very happy thus far as I'm in a pretty solid 4G area (Cincinnati). With the extended battery, the phone is functioning and performing at and above expectations. The above fixes + resolving the reboots once and for all would be the coup de grace.

Ah, mine hasn't rebooted, so I really don't care about this. I wonder if it's going to include any other fixes/changes.

Hopefully the rollout of this patch doesn't slow down the GB deployment.
I am wondering about this fix. I do not suffer from reboot issues and since the update the only suffering I've had is trying to kill the battery. Meaning that even though the update stated nothing about the battery, it seems they just snuck better battery life without saying, probably just in case they did not get the results they expected. As far as GB, the Evo has received it yes?

Can't say as I've had an issue with #2, I don't really use news feeds, so #1 is out, but I'll happily accept every other reason you have alongside ya. :)

FYI - XDA has MR2 in hand. They've posted the radio for it. The RUU sounds like it's Froyo still, so no Gingerbread this time around. For whatever reason, the people that acquired the leak think GB is a ways off still.

Look for the full RUU to be posted with a day or two. I'm sure there will be perm-root and stock editions to be had.

End of August was about the time frame given for the official GB release.

Personally I don't think I'll flash the new radio, Froyo works perfectly fine and since I'm running Go Launcher with a custom theme I want the behind the scenes benefits of GB.

On a side note I hope the devs don't ignore the froyo users when the full RUU is released...

Speaking of Froyo...is Kaos over at the TB or is he somewhere else?
