Upgrade time!!! Getiing a Nexus. App questions

Hello,

I am going to get a Nexus in the near future and have questions about some apps. What are some good TV and movie apps?

This will be my first smart phone so all is new to me.

I have been reading this forum for the past 3 months and this looks like the phone for me. I will use it mostly for web surfing, e-mail, music and watching video. As of now, I don't intend to make any modifications to the stock OS.

Thanks in advance for your input.

I just subscribed to netflix because of the app and the nexus and have to admit its pretty damn awesome :) the video is really clear (once buffered) and a good selection of online stuff to watch. Worth at minimal the 30 days free and think its $7.99 monthly

Also if you have an Hbo.Go account check that out, limited but its something. Check with your cable provider.

Netflix was the first movie app that I put on my phone. Also, many people dont care too much for SprintTV, but I actually installed it as well because it has streaming ESPN. (note: it doesnt come preloaded on the phone and is not in the market, so you will have to google "sprint TV apk" to find it for download.) I also have the sling player app installed on mine which streams from my satellite at home. (please note that you have to buy a slingbox in order to use the sling player app)

Also, keep in mind that this phone completely supports flash, so there are tons of websites that you will be able to go to and watch movies/tv shows. Between all of that, you can become a full-time tv junkie if you so wish. :)

I appreciate the replies. I am looking for something to replace Sprint TV because I like Speedvision.

Believe it or not, I don't have cable or satellite TV. I can't justify the money only for a couple of extra channels I like.

That being said, keep the suggestions coming.

Thanks again...

You know that Sprint TV has the speed channel on it right? It doesnt stream live, but they have several full episode shows.
