If the case works with the Droid Pro it will work with the XPRT - they are the same phone with only a name change and some software and guts changes. There's a decent assortment out there.

I think the pro's edges are slightly more rounded and the believe the volume buttons are in different spots as welll

Having "examined" the Droid Pro prior to the XPRT arriving for examination I am 99.9% sure that the only difference between their appearance is the Pro has chrome edges while the XPRT has black (which I prefer).
Also, I am using the "Motorola Media Station made for Droid Pro" as my charging dock - it works perfectly. It comes with an insert that is slightly thinner than the original because I believe the XPRT back is thicker because of the 1800mah battery. But, it works fine.
Pretty much anything that works with the Pro will work fine with the XPRT.

nope your wrong the the xprt come stock with the extended battery and the back plate door is bigger the overall phone has the same exact specs as a droid pro with the extended battery and door. i know i bought a body glove case and holster for it and it didn't fit.If the case works with the Droid Pro it will work with the XPRT - they are the same phone with only a name change and some software and guts changes. Oops... when I think "case" I think leather holster. I'm betting you're thinking hard shell type "case". You would be correct in that assumption. However, that is about the only 'outside' variation from the theme. Thanks for making that point.

I also bought a Body Glove case/belt clip for my XPRT that I was told would fit the Pro, and XPRT. It did not fit.
The XPRT is more square on top, thicker, and longer. Only by 1mm, but enough.

There's also an advertised Seidio case that is supposed to fit. I contacted the company, and they said that they were not currently making any case for the XPRT.

i contacted seidio currenty they have no cases for the XPRT.. only thing fits are them silicone gel skins or pda pouches.

I got my XPRT to replace a beloved blackberry Bold 9000 and am really pleased with everything. My only complaint is the lack of cases. I frequently am in scrubs for work and need a way to clip my phone on my pants. I hate those leather holster things. They make the whole phone twice the size. I'm glad I looked here first because I nearly bought the Seidio ACTIVE Case and Holster Combo for Motorola Droid Pro (Black), but it sounds like it doesn't fit.
Any ideas of other places to look? What about those crazy mall kiosks w/ universal cases? Worth my time?

i heard that in a few weeks that a few cases and holsters will be available for the xprt. im waiting too bud.

I work for Sprint, and also have the XPRT, and we just started selling this case the other day. I really like it, but the holster is annoying and occasionally makes the phone pop out of the case when taking it out.

I have this case. The only issue I have with it is that it's pretty thin, wouldn't protect much if I were to drop it on a hard surface 4ft up and the little strip of plastic at the top of the camera lens snapped in half after a day of using it (very minor issue). A decent case until another, better case/holster is launched by someone.
