of high school was today, well classes anyway (I still have finals, prom, n graduation lol)

It's kind of surreal and I don't think that it has really hit me that it's finally over...

It's so weird and I don't know how to feel right now, not waking up early anymore, no more classes, not seeing the people I see everyday everyday anymore...Wow these 4 years literally flew by, I still remember freshman year like it was yesterday and it feels like I didn't have enough time to do everything I wanted to :(

I don't remember my last days of high school but I definitely do remember prom and graduation. Fun times with close friends whom I'm still good friends with after 3 years in college (thank you Facebook). I still feel like I'm best friends with my childhood friend who is attending UC Berkeley even though I've been studying at IU and am now going even farther away to NYU.

A few things that you'll really realize once you get to college and look back at high school... high school drama meant NOTHING, goths and other unordinary clics (like werewolves) are essentially non existent in universities, female graduates who don't go to college tend to get married and pregnant earlier, and other stuff.

Also depending on how rigorous your high school courses were, you'll realize how much more difficult college level courses are... or realize how easy they are depending on the class. Some classes that I've taken felt so easy and more high school level while others like a 400-level (4th year) French honors course on the works of Voltaire, Diderot, and Rousseau makes you want to blow your brains out. lol

What are your plans after high school?

I did get that surreal feeling you got, but I got that feeling in May. I came home one day and realised that after June, I probably won't see a number of those people on a regular basis again. It was kind of a sad feeling that day. Not sure why it was that day in May.

If you do pursue post secondary education, you will find that you have even less time.

In any case, congratulations. You now move onto another chapter of your life.

Just remember "C's gets degrees" and you will be fine. I "C-ed" my way through college and now have a Microbiology degree to show for it:D

Are you going to college? If so, there is nothing in high school you will miss when you go to college, trust me. If you stick around locally you will be with many of your old HS friends. If you go far away like I did you will make all new friends and start a new life. Honestly, it's not a big deal until you graduate college. THEN you will sit there at work and wonder WTF? How did this happen? :D

College - You are broke with tons of spare time.
After - You have money and no time to spend it.
