I'm looking for some apps.

I'm looking for a couple of apps and need help finding them

Phone: LG Optimus V
OS: Android 2.2x (No root, no computer)

1.) I'm looking for an app/widget that can display the data (3G, WIFI) connection. Just like in the notification bar.

2.) I'm looking for an app that can take screenshots of my homrscreen or any other screen.

3.) I'm looking for a copy of flashplayer that will work on my phone/os and a web browser that will work with the flashplayer.

I have the same phone.
1. Widgetsoid is possibly the simplest solution to what you want - shows icon to press for enabling/disabling several data connections, wifi, and I think the settings allow for labels that tell you the name of the network(s), along with lights that show whether the connection is enabled/disabled. The free version is almost the same as the paid, apart from a few icons and helping the developer out.
See screenshot for how I used widgetsoid with custom icons on another project:

Tasker is a more advanced solution that can do that and so much more I won't bore you with the details. See forum posts on this very versatile app.
2. Shoot me. Works great without root, saves shots to your sd card. Do not move the app to your sd card or you will probably botch the saving process.
3. I hear great things about dolphin hd, but honestly, no idea if that works for you. Someone with more flash know-how please help out.

I have already tried both widgetsoid and tasker.

You know that little 1x, 3G, and WiFi indicator in the note bar?
And how it has those little arrows to show data in (down arrow) and data out (up arrow)?

That is what I want to display and how I want to display it. Only I want to take it out of the note bar and put it on a widget to make it bigger.

I don't want to switch anything, and I don't want to show signal strength.

Okee dokee...well, everything I suggested was duplicating the things you see in the notification bar. Still not sure why you want to display anything other than signal strengths and names/types - that's essentially the same thing as what the notification bar tells you.

If you're talking about moving, locating, or modding the actual images that are currently within your notification bar, I don't think that's possible without rooting to gain access to the hardware imagery, fonts, etc. Sorry you didn't get what you wanted. Hopefully my posts bumps this back up the forum for a moderator to help out.

I might be the one misunderstanding, so here is my screen cap.

I don't want to take anything out of the note bar. I only want to reproduce something that from what I've seen widgetsoid and tasker can't. They can turn the data connection on/off and tell you if you have a 3G or wifi connection, but they won't show what that connection is doing.

If I'm wrong then please help me make them do what I need.

Okay, let's try one more example:
This is an elixir widget, as I mentioned in a previous post.

The first icon shows mobile strength - that's the bars for your cell signal. As you can see, I have crap reception in my home. The second icon is wifi strength - same as notification bar would give you, except this is a readout of percentage, not just the three little waves. The third icon is how much data is being transferred over wifi. The fourth is data over the network. The fifth shows that bluetooth is off, and gives you an option to set it on. The last icon indicates the same thing as your little 3g thing: that data over the network is on, with the option to turn off. I cannot recall ever seeing an app widget that shows whether your data is in 1g or 3g state (which hardly means that it doesn't exist).

Here is another one called signal strength: It shows my lousy cell coverage, and that I currently have 3g off (which I recommend, btw, whe you have wifi on especially, just for the sake of battery conservation):

This was my best guess as to what you want to create in widget form. As you can see, it gives you lots more info than the notification bar. Other similar apps (and there are so many I couldn't even make a short list for you) will show things like wifi network name (tasker does that), strengths, etc. Some include toggling options, some don't.
This one might be what you're looking for, but I don't want to purchase it to tell you what it does - it's a buck.
Hope this helped. Let me know if you find what you're looking for.
