Anyone else having trouble sending text messages to numbers that the phone retrieved from Facebook? I can send (and receive) texts to numbers I've added myself, but if I try to send one to a contact that was imported by Facebook it will give me a "Send Failed" error. This wasn't the case on my OG Droid, so I'm hoping I've missed some setting somewhere.

I haven't had any problems texting in any manner either using the native application or third party apps. However, I made the switch today to using google voice app to send texts, so can now drop the Verizon monthly charge and do them all free. The Google Voice app is really nice and saves money.

Regarding Facebook....no problems but the basic Android app just doesn't measure up as far as usability. For example it won't let you see who "liked" things, and it isn't easy to maneuver. I found one for $3.99 called FriendCaster Pro for Facebook which is much better, structured better like it displays larger vertically, and the comments and likes appear in a separate pull, slide down small page. Also, it pops up notifications on your phone home page even when the phone is locked. Nice.

So, no one else is seeing this issue? I've run into a few other issues with FB, like my contact picture not updating (they synced the first time), not being able to sync my contact pics in chomp (again, synced up the first time, using their built in sync program, but won't update), and when I click "View Profile" to go directly to someone's FB page I get sent to my FB homepage instead.

I've tried unfreezing Social Networking and a few other things, but haven't been able to get any change.
