Root [BETA]Cyanogen!! Landed!!! :) Go get it![Updated 7/12/2011]

will there any slim chance that the original DX camera will ever work or is the AOSP camera going to be the only stock camera?

The X camera requires the Blur framework so there'd have to be some work done and I'm not sure how possible it is to port apps like that to different frameworks.

It's improbable that it'll be done... but I do agree that it's a better camera app.

I hope someone can figure it out.. The blur camera was the one and only feature of blur that I actually liked. I think a few people at rootzwiki tried putting the camera back but failed. Maybe it will work now since there is a cam fix. If not, that's life I guess. ;)

On another note, I'm coming back to CM as we speak, how is the latest nightly? has anyone flashed it yet and will it break root like the first nightlies did?

None of the nightly updates break root if you flash the latest Superuser installer in ROM Manager.

I'm on the latest nightly, I don't think much has improved but it amuses me to keep up to date, so there ya' go. No problems so far.

Maybe I have a magical phone, but after I did the fix last night, my phone camera works fine. Camcorder doesn't, but camera, videos, benchmark, etc do. I don't have a 3rd party camera app either.

They are not saying their camera doesn't work, they are saying the blur camera doesn't work. Basically they want the blur camera not the AOSP camera ;)

Unfortunately for you, your phone is not magical :p

Oh, thought I was David Blaine for a second. Does anyone know if there is a changelog anywhere for the nightlies? All I see is the download page for them, no stated changes.

I did this and the only thing I have not got to work on #6 is the zip for getting the CRT animation and changing the name from T-CDMA 64. Other than that everything else seems to be fine.

Now that video is working, which means Quadrant is working, I ran a few tests running at 1.3 GHz. I have not been overclocked at all, but I have been using Quick Clock to run the stock clock speeds at lower voltages since things are so fast already. I ran 3 consecutive tests, the first 2 were around 2950 and the last one was 3010. Take it for what you will.
