Root I hate froyo!!!

So i need the upgrade path to GB .596 Rooted and Deodoxed....

How do I get there if my new replacement phone comes with 2.2.
And how do I get there if my phone comes with the OTA GB 2.3 Update preinstalled?

There is something to be said for reading and learning,,, that said.
Read and follow the directions found at this thread. I suggest that when you get your phone and if its 2.2 that you then root it and do the two file upgrade to GB .596. Once you are up and running you can then load this file to Deodex. Good luck.

stock froyo info is in my sig, this will be what you need if if comes with Gingerbread already installed

I was able to figure it out.
I SBF'ed back to froyo. That threat from Droidforums that is posted about doesnt mention the OTA at all, i guess its cause the OTA wasnt released yet. I think they should add directions for the the OTA.

No hard feelings, I guess I should read more. lol.
