download that odin file in the first post and recover your bh2 to the original factory by going into download mode by holding volume down, ok, and power button at the same time and just start all over

I Updated the script to work correctly now:

Download Here: View attachment ginstall.zip

Extract both files to the Root of your sdcard

Make sure you have all files from post #1 on the root of your sdcard also

download a terminal emulator from the market

open it and type:
cd /sdcard
sh ginstall.sh

when it's done, go to Settings -> Phone/SD Card Storage -> scroll to the end and hit Factory Reset

when that's done, make sure you do the MMS fix from the first post.

I replaced all the files and typed as you instructed. This is what I got:

Permission denied
cd: can't cd to \
Getting Root
permission denied create /data/local/try3
No such file or directory/try3
permission denied create /data/local/ginstall2.sh
No such file or directory/ginstall2.sh
ginstall.sh: /data/local/try3: not found

That doesn't seem to be right. Or should I go ahead and factory reset?

This means u didnt copy the libraries properly.. try this:

# Get Root
cat /sdcard/try3 > /data/local/try3
chmod 777 /data/local/try3
/data/local/try3 /system/bin/sh

# Remount system read write
mount -o rw,remount /dev/st9 /system

cd /system
cp -pr libmodules.b2/* libmodules

then factory reset, no need for reboot first.
Thanks KAM, but the scripts you told me to try gave me error messages, so I tried to do the odin recovery, and I can't get it to work either. It never lets me get to the point where I put the phone in download mode and start the program. I can usually choose the files for boot and phone, but once I get to PDA Odin "stops working" and basically force closes on my pc. Sometimes it doesn't even make it past choosing the file for phone. Any suggestions?

kam, has there been any progress with getting the vibration to work, also any progress with a rom with the number "2" in it lol. Im getting antsy over here lol. I would love to help you out but I only know how to root phones, do adb, and put custom roms on really good. Thats about it. Do you know a good site that teaches how to do the stuff that you do. I am very interested! Thanks, Paul:D

re 'force' the driver - i wrote how in brackets! By removing show compatable devices you force it to try and install the driver even if the driver type doesnt match

re the script. You shouldnt be doing things like cd / in a script. You should use absolute paths for EVERYTHING that isnt in the shell path. Remember you should also have

#!/bin/sh

at the top of your shell file otherwise no paths will work

re vibration. I'm really busy with work this week so havnt had time to look at it. Mobileband, Mrandroid etc are looking at it in the mean time. I think my next job will be to try to replace the kernel

re 2.x again very busy with work, but drakaz and others are working on the rild problem. We can get reception, but a couple of commands are still broken.

Switching to the Galaxy firmware shouldn't affect the radio at all should it? My phone seems to be reporting weaker reception after the change.

Second, can mobiledefense be moved/copied into system/bin so that a factory reset won't get rid of it?

Thanks for all the hard work guys.

i dont think it does.. but thats what ive thought... my recpetion seems to be lacking now 1 bar almost all the time now
