tbolt hot hot hot

Ya this has been a recurring problem for me and many other users. I've downloaded watchdog and closed anything that uses too much cpu but to no avail. It's very frustrating as it drains your battery 2x faster and it already drains fast. Pretty sure rooting is the only solution u have.

its probably just the 4G radio. even 3G got my DX up to 107 on a daily basis. it happens on this phone as well. i just check what is using the CPU (usually my tuneIn radio app that i forget to close out of completely) then i put my phone in front of a fan i have on my desk. gets it down to like 80 degrees in a few minutes.

i wouldn't worry about it too much. these phones will shut off at a certain temperature to avoid damage. but that is like in the 120 degree area.

When my TBolt heats up and drains yhe battery its usually a Sync issue. I am using Exchange ActiveSync and was havig issues completing sync on Exchange Calendar. When i noticed the phone heating up, the sync process was stuck on Calendar updates. At that point you can kill the process. My company recently upgraded to Office10 and the Exchange ActiveSync works perfectly.

No heat, no battery drain. I easily get full day use out of my phone. 1700mah battery.
