VZ Employee Talked me out of the Charge

i mean it's not the best battery but given how much i use it

Taking self-portraits
texting
talking
movies,
games(though i am mainly using my play for that)
and highest brightness possible

i get about 8, 9 hours which is good with me.
Now if this was an HTC Droid charge instead of samsung
i could understand him saying 4 hours

I looked at the htc evo 3d. What turned me away was its stock battery is 150mah hours larger than the charges extended battery with a shorter lifespan. So basically the lifespan the thundrrbolt is seeing but on a huge battery 1750mah. It was a neat toy though, but the construction wasnt as nice as the original evo which im not sure why they would do that.

Hotspot or Google Maps navigation. I bet either will take the phone out in under 4 hours

I would count either of those as things a normal user could do. Not that anyone would intentionally leave maps on, but I know people that think the hotspot should be able to stay on all the time. Trust me, I educate them after I hear about it.

Folks it is sad to say, but the VZW training program lacks to say the least. I have met some sharp salespeople, who ask about what features mean the most, and consider your inputs and steer you toward a good phone. I had the experience of those who love Iphone, push you that direction, but when you start peeling the onion back... You find that the Iphone lacks some great stuff that is standard in an Android phone. Voice Turn by Turn GPS directions with a photo of your destination just to name one big one off of my head. i try to point the sales staff at websites and forums like this to help them steer people into a better purchase.

4 hours, that's funny. I got the 20% warning after 13 hours traveling through a lot of crappy signal places all day and using the screen for 2 hours in total a couple days ago.

With the Tbolt months back, that thing would die after 7 hours of really minimal usage. No contest.

That salesmen was an idiot, he knows absolutely NOTHING about sales.

My Charge will go 14-16 hours with moderate usage...if I use it heavily it will be a lot less. Not the best battery life, but when I bought it I knew that. I ordered another battery, and will get a spare charger cord for at work and will be 100% A-OK.

Bought a spare battery on eBay for $15.00 -- can't go wrong with that.
