Ok, since folks seem to like the interior stuff I've done, and I enjoy doing it, I have been drowning in furniture site browsing. I came across this shelving unit or whatever.

And from it...came this.

But as soon as I put it on my phone, I thought it looked like kid stuff. I like the room, so it will stay. But I'm replacing the furniture piece with wall shelves. Just have to come up with what I'll put on them. Hope to be back with that finished very soon.

Oh, and my lockscreen is a mess, so fuhgettabotit. :D

Ok, so this is my first crack at this, and it's no where near where the rest of you are(especially since no root) but after hours of figuring out the SDK/Eclipse i finally am able to take screenshots...here's my celebration of The Blues Brothers coming out on Blu-Ray next month...

I've been inspired with all the furniture stuff as well. But I wanted to do something a little different. I'm a HUGE Chuck fan and love the idea of the intersect. So here is my take on the whole thing...

Used the obvious...Launcher Pro and Desktop Visualizer.
Each custom image on the screen above links to a different app...for example the e-trade baby is my phone app, the Numa Numa guy links to YouTube, the Groundhog Day screenshot links to my calendar, etc. (there are filler images as well that don't link to anything.)

Well done, Mr. Link! I like Chuck, too. Or more accurately, I like the blondie on Chuck. :D Bummer you couldn't get a higher-res photo. But otherwise, a fine image map. Looking forward to seeing your next project.

Jon, also a nice layout, thanks for sharing! If you get deep into this thing, you may want to consider getting an alternative launcher like LauncherPro or ADW. It will only add to your design experience.

While looking for decent icons to use with the (now abandoned) basement shelves layout, I ran across this random wallpaper [ http://wallpaperesi.com/Download/White-Boxes-Wallpaper.jpg ] and it inspired the cleverly named "White Boxes" theme here. It just happens like this sometimes. Now maybe I'll be able to see what's on the frickin' screen out in the daylight.

Well since everyone is showing off their UI, I'd figure its a good time to ask, anyone have any issues with your picture say your favorites looks really bad, the quality of the picture is nothing like the actual picture, looks like all they pixels are crunched up and the image looks really distorted and cheap. I have a feeling this issue is due to the way Google syncs your contacts.

I tried deleting my picture from my gmail account, then upload a nice good quality picture (from my phone), when i add this contact to my favorite widget, the image looks clean and smooth...once i do a sync the image looks bad.

Any ideas, or anyone else having this problem??

i have that problem when i get calls from people. the photo looks terrible when compared to the original. i dont know the solution though
