So I spent like 3 hours on the phone today with Sprint. The conversation finished with me getting 2 new Nexus' S phones. Currently I am running an LG Optimus, a few old Centros, and an Epic. Thought it would be great to get matching phones with the wife. I went through multiple people on the phone with Sprint and guess what none of them mentioned to me... that I was being kicked off Sprint today. So I get home and pick up the mail. A strange letter from Sprint is in the mix. I open it and there it is, bye bye after about 10 years of service with 4 lines and never missing a payment. I failed to meet the Sprint standard of roaming due to military/federal service. I received notification of this in Nov that something might happen. So I asked them how to make it better. They upgraded my account adding about $100 more to it per month. But I guess that was not good enough. I have been paying for "unlimited roaming" since as far back as I can remember. As many of you know and as I have learned "unlimited" is not a true term. It is only "unlimited" if you meet the limits such as 50% or less roaming.

Well the question is do I just call and return the new phones or would they be worth selling? After all is said and done I have about $425 in the 2 after taxes? Any offers for an off contract Nexus that I am sure I would love?

Also any suggestions on how to keep my account would be great. I really do not want to leave Sprint. Thank you all for your help.

You can probably sell them for $375-$400 each.

Since when connected to wifi its still a fully functional device minus cellular calling. I would Keep one for a media player and remember that with certain options you could still use it to make calls over wifi. And with Google voice you can also do texts that way.

I kept my old Hero and it still works just as it did before. The only thing is that I have to be connected to wifi to retrieve data and make all my calls (with GrooveIP), which is certainly an inconvenience when your out and about, but it's 100% free when at home or on some other wifi.
