lol..I was just popping in to say I flashed 2.1 last night and that it was running well...only to find that 2.15 is out haha. I may stay with this...I don't seem to be having the camera bug

battery still drains like a sieve though.

I'm not having too bad of a time with the battery. Have setcpu with the 245/245 screen off profile running, works fine for me. I can get a wholle day no problem, 16-18 hrs with some left over.
Not nearly as good with Netarchy, but good enough for stock.

shishhhhhhh, ok so i just added mikg 2.15 to the rom/kernel sticky

Damnit! I missed the updated version by a mere couple of hours...

How are you guys deleting photos? I can't for the life of me figure it out. I've tried menu, holding down on the pic.. (all from gallery).

I've resorted to using es file manager.

(by the way... what is Maxthon? I'd like to guess it's some sort of 'running/marathon workout' thing, but not likely... lol)

Deleting a picture: Right after you snap a pic, there is a garbage can on the side of the screen. Tap it before it goes away and the pic is deleted. If you wait, you have to tap the gallery and delete it from there.

It is that quick tap that got me. I snapped 5 pics then deleted the 5th. On 2.15 I snapped 1 pic, pressed the trash can icon, and it rebooted. I don't think it's the number of pics but it is definitely something happening when a picture is deleted.

For 2.15, I used Amon, wiped data, cache, and dalvik manually. I then ran vr superwipe. There is no freaking way the camera bug is from something residual. I even had a brand new class 6 8GB card installed because I thought my SD card might have an issue...

I know exactly what u mean, I did about 3 full wipes and the camera issues presented itself in all versions of this rom i tried. But because I thought it was an issue with the ROM itself I tried out Fresh 4 since he has the stock camera in his. Same dark image quality, I didnt try enough photo shots to see if it'll reboot but I went hack to MikG since the issue doesnt seem to be ROM related.

I could be wrong, but I'm almost starting to think its an issue with Gingerbread itself on our EVOs. I NEVER had these problems on any 2.2 rom I had until I started using 2.3 ROMs.

Oh and I did ask Mik about this and he knows what I'm talking about and said that he'll try to work on the issue, I know it won't be easy to do but I appreciate that he's even looking into it.

I'm waiting, just got 2.1 setup, I can't keep doing this every day or two.

Agreed. And yes i did notice that some things broke in 2.15 that wasn't an issue in 2.15, although I know it wasnt an official release I got a little fed up with everything FCing. I am back on my old, dependable 2.2 Fresh 3.5 nandroid. Camera works fine, netflix works fine, no fc in the browser, no VM fc, it all just works. I'll be on this for at least a week or 2 since i will be on vacation soon and will need something more solid. Flipz new gingerbread build is too stockish and also has the camera bug with dark photos, it just doesnt FC/reboot though.
