leaked video of gingerbread on charge

Unfortunately, video only show 8 seconds of actual netflix movie. Will it play the entire movie? or hangs up after 15 seconds?

Who cares, bc as of right now netflix just force closes, so that's 1 step closer and I'm sure if it starts it'll finish. lol. I only want netflix, I could care less about gb. That is cool that samsung is working their tails off tho for these updates.

netflix...... lol who cares.

I think the whole Netflix thing has turned into something that everyone wants because it's available and they want it to work on their beloved phone. I don't think half of these people will even watch full movies on their phones once the novelty wears off.

I'm not saying anyone in this thread is like that and I don't mean to bash. But it just is starting to seem that way to me. I for one would never watch a full length movie on my phone. But maybe that's just me.

wow, NFLX doesn't work on Charge? that seems silly. It works perfectly on my Evo. Does it work on a rooted versions of the Charge?

To those that think Netflix on a phone is pointless, it really isn't. a 4.3 inch diplay is plenty big for watching a good tv show or movie. Some good headphones really makes it feel like a much bigger experience. Sure, a tablet or big screen tv is better, but if you watch youtube and pron, why not netflix?;)

Wow, this thread totally became the unofficial Netflix on Charge thread. ;-)

Back on topic: Samsung has been under fire for not updating their devices as often as other manufacturers and it's good to see them stepping up to the plate with the Charge.

Making me even happier I decided to buy it.

The main thing i am interested in is seeing if NetFlix can stream via the HDMI output or if not can it be tweaked to do so? As it stands you can't off the M/Hub due to the file type. However if it does work via NetFlix this could become very interesting as everything else i have thrown at the charge hooks up no problem.

You are so right! I started reading the thread, then got caught up with work, then when I got back to it, forgot I was reading a Gingerbread thread. GB has bugs. I am totally ok with staying on Froyo for a bit before going to GB.

On my Evo, lots of strange things started happening, after my GB update. One thing it did was erase all of my visual voice mail messages. One was from the CFO of a client and had all his contact info. shame on me for not having it backed up or recorded in my contacts.

oops!

does no one use media hub ? its preloaded and well i watched the movie "the eagle" awesome flick yea just wanted to add my 2 cents im sure this thread can get closed now lol

Not sure about everyone else but, I recieved a $25.00 redeemable code from Samsung for the Media hub, in my box. Bought and downloaded The Dark Knight and I am Legend. They look great on this phone. I just don't see myself paying $14.99, Dark Knight, $9.99, Legend, out of my pocket , since I already own most of the Movies I want on DVD or Blu-ray !

Agree, overpriced for "owning" on my phone, when I would rather buy the blu-ray and then use the digital copy if I wanted it on my phone.
