Help green hornet movie question

i disagree. the 3D on the hornet was superb.

however as i stated earlier and now someone else is saying it, i can no longer view it in 3D. perhaps its a time session DRM'ed thing. Ive not played the movie all the way through so i suspect since i started it the "rental period" of the 3D portion may have expired...

That's pretty lame they did this.:thinking::(

Interesting. Mine is still playing and I have started and stopped it a few dozen times showing off the 3D effect to others.

well my post was just a long shot guess as to whats happening... someone else in this thread can not see it in 3D either. i have stopped and started it (one or two times i went to the top of the movie) a few times also and have not watched it thru the end...

not sure what the issue is.

I can still watch it in 3D after watching the full length movie on Friday 6/24. I purchased the phone based on the specs without 3D but now I am looking all over for 3D content on the phone.

Same problem here. I started the movie the day I bought the phone and it was in 3D. Now it only shows in 2D. ????

Anyone?

Went into the watch app, hit the lower left button, selected Green Hornet.

I'm watching it now. I don't know what's worse... the Green Hornet, Seth Rogen, or 3D. Amazingly 3D is the least in the running of the 3...

Which is worst indeed, all 3 gave me a headache. I read about the guy who accidentally deleted his copy, I'd like to know how he did that so I can delete mine on purpose. That movie is terrible.

I know the feeling. YouTube has far better examples of 3D effects and don't give you a headache. Plus the movie is painful to watch, even if it was in 2D (which it practically was). I usually don't say I hate moves, even if they're bad. But I hated the Green Hornet.

It's not even close to 3d on my phone. YouTube 3D videos are 3d...this isn't

I have to disagree. Directors are getting away from the gimmick of 3d coming out at you. They are using 3d more to define how they film the movie. Depth is a lot more realistic than things coming off the screen. I saw Transformers 3d last night and maybe 2% of the 3d effect was things coming off the screen. I think the Green Hornet movie shows where 3d is headed for the masses and shows how easy it is to see even on a device without glasses.

With that said the movie itself is horrible which is probably why they were able to buy all these licenses and put it on a phone that they subsidized at $200 cost the the consumer. The 4G was that price and came with no movies.

I tried mine when I first got the phone and it worked. After I downloaded the license, I pushed the menu to the left, and it launched it with no problem. In fact, I've already had my phone replaced as of yesterday (dedicated camera button stopped working), and I tried it again on the new phone just to make sure it worked, and it did. But for some reason the 3D effect didn't seem as deep in GH as previously seen. Nnnetheless, it worked the second time around.

Unfotunately, my computer isn't recognizing the phone, so it looks like I'll be having problems uploading new movies. It's a shame, because I'd love to get King Kong, Avatar, Alice In Wonderland, Sucker Punch, and a couple more movies on the device. But I guess before I even think about that, I need to upgrade to the 32 gig card.

Short of YouTube videos has anyone found any other sources for 3D MOVIES we can watch on this phone?
I checked HTC Watch a couple days back and there were none. I haven't looked at the Blockbuster app yet, has anyone and how is it? Netflix doesn't seem to offer 3D content yet either, at least not instant viewable.

There's not much on blockbuster either.

Everybody has the same issue, htc knows about the problem and they working in a fix

I think a lot of people have different issues. Why can't I watch the Green Hornet...? Because, I, much like many others on here, formatted our SD cards and/or changed size/class. Therefore no Green Hornet :(

As for everyone asking for someone to upload it or PM it or email...Androidforums doesn't support file sharing and when it comes to movies I HIGHLY suspect that is a BIG NO NO. So, do not upload it. Sorry to burst bubbles.
