Would you trade your Droid X for a Thunderbolt?

I was offered the same thing from Verizon. They told me to pick any phone. This was because I was on my second X and the last one came from Motorola.
The 3G to 1X drop issue will never be acknowledged by Motorola.... enough said.
Anyway I chose the HTC Incredible 2. Though I do miss the 4.3 screen size I have gotten used to the 4.0 screen. I was kind of put on the spot when I was offered a replacement so I only had a split second to decide. I recall reading about the battery life on the TB plus I am not in a 4g area so I passed. I really like the DINC 2 and it will get me through another year until my contract is up.

Do u like the inc 2 more than the dx?
I think I would like to have a "problem free" thunderbolt! I like my dx but its getting "old". Lol

Yes I like it much better and it is problem free! I am now used to the screen size so I have no complaints. I am not in a 4G area so I am going to wait another year before I go that route. Hopefully the battery issues and bugs are worked out by then with the 4g phones.

If your interested in a Thunderbolt with battery life similar to the X (Liberty was what I got the best battery life followed by ApeX) then try Das BAMF Stripped 1.8 or remix 1.8. For even better battery life try Imo's lean kernel

Thanks for the nfo. If I do switch over I will try those. But real happy with my X now.

At this point, I'd trade this phone for any other, except another Motorola device. My phone has completely crashed twice since Gingerbread, and my wife's phone has crashed once.

I'm about done with it.

So your mad because leaked unofficial software doesn't work properly? If this is the case you should either stay stock or stay away from android, any other phone will be the same way. The thunderbolt currently has issues as well with A LEAKED gb. All phones will have issues will leaked software, some will be worse than others but generally all leaked software has some flaws minor or major. The issues can also be on a phone by phone basis, or simply because they were not installed correctly. I can't wait to get another Motorola phone, they are the best, I'll never own another Samsung or LG and HTC is good but not as good as Motorola.

the thunderbolt beats the Droid x in every way (my tb gets just as good battery life as my x since the gb update) Display is way better. Tb is faster/smoother. Camera is miles better on the tb (huge deal for me) 4g is sooo fast.
The ONLY thing the thunderbolt doesn't have is official hulu/netflix support and hdmi

Wow! Imagine how good the Charge must be then! :p

(That is said in jest. I don't have actual experience with either phone - just what I've read on these forums).

Good the hear about the camera. One of the BIGGEST things I hate about Motorola phones (or at least my X) is how horrible the camera is. Yeah, it may be 8 megapixels, but if every time you take a picture it is either blurry or it captures the shot 5 seconds after you push the button, not much good. So, good to hear the TB has a better camera.

I was unaware that an official OTA software update was "unofficial."
But thanks for the non-advice.
