D3 screen protectors

Has anyone tried the screen protectors from Verizon for this phone yet? I know usually the Verizon protectors don't cover the entire screen from end to end. The usually only cover up to where the black border starts. Just checking to see if the Verizon ones for this are the same

Actually, they are only partially correct above. True: the screen protector from vzw doesn't cover the entire face of the device. however, it DOES overlap the actual screen that lights up by like 1/16th of an inch or maybe a smidge more. So, it covers more than "just" the touchscreen, but not the entire face of the device. For $10, I didn't wanna wait and take any chances. they're fine for a while. Plus, it was awesome to take off the OEM shipping screen guard and put this right on. no cleaning required. Yeah!

I got the regular one from Verizon when I ordered my car dock (nice!), waiting for Boxwave or someone to get a real one out. I figured something was better than nothing. It's not horrible but it should cover the whole dang thing.

This is why I want to try the DX2 ones, since should cover the whole thang (short for dang thing).

Indeed, the VZW screen protectors are really disappointing - they do cover the screen itself, but leaving the rest of the front face exposed is lame. These are really just "universal" screen protectors, and not really dedicated D3 protectors.
Once some others come on line with some 'form fitting' protectors, I'll grab some.
