Help University Email

Is there I way I can get my mail to my phone from my college. Every time I go to my Email app to set it up it always comes up with an error (unable to connect to server). Any ideas on what to do?

for the Domain/Username i get "\myusername" so I'm assuming I'm missing domain name somewhere (not sure what it is) and the password and server areas are filled out.

Find out what ur school uses.
My school - Georgia Southern University - uses gmail.
here id an example - **08980@georgiasouthern.edu.

The service is actually provided by gmail.

We use the Microsoft Outlook Web App

so mine looks like *******@mail.uc.edu

get your server information from the IT department of the college so that you can input it on your X

its the same as corporate exchange or should be

Open up Outlook and check your Exchange settings there... they're very similar.

Android has issues with Exchange, I'd skip down to the POP3 / IMAP4 instructions under "Set up your email account on your mobile phone"

The video in this section shows you how to get your server and port settings from your email account!

Servers vary. Sometimes they want the full email address, sometimes they want only your name (everything before the @ sign). Did you try both? Capitalization too, possibly...

Also make sure the phone isn't capitalizing the first letter of the password when you type it. I've run into that issue sometimes. Passwords are almost ALWAYS case sensitive.

Yeah tried about every variation I could think of. Thanks a lot though guys I'll just email tech support.
