USAA Mobile Banking App?

I can't find this when searching in Android Market, but it appears to be available. AndroLib, Find all applications and games available in the Android Market for your Android Phone, HTC Dream, HTC Magic etc... shows that it is out there!

I hope this isn't an Android 1.5 thing...

Anyone else been able to find it or use it? I am really pumped up about being able to deposit checks by taking a picture of them and instantly having it deposited in account.

per USAA it's for versions 1.6 or later. so, the market won't show it to you. i am bummed.

I have been looking forward to this app for a while, but I can't find it in the android market on my phone. I have the HTC Eris (verizon), software version 1.17, firmware 1.5. I assume that the firmware version is the version of Android that I have?

...just realized this is a sprint thread, but maybe you guys can help anyway.

I use an app called Mobile Banking. It works great, loads all my USAA accounts balances and provides transaction level detail.

Yes the ERIS is on firmware version 1.5 , aka "Android Platform Version 1.5", aka "cupcake". Hope this clears it up for you... 1.5 is your version number when referring to the Android Market. :cool:

The other bank app sounds nice, but what I'm interested in is the check deposit feature in the USAA app.

Now, I will scoot off to an Eris thread and see what the over-under is on the date for the upgrade on the Eris to 2.0/2.1!

Agreed. Not to mention that due to recent problems with fraudulent 3rd party apps for similar purposes, I'd prefer to have the app from the source.

This app is the reason I check multiple times every day for news on the 2.1 update. USAA is the best and I can't wait to use it on my awesome phone.
