After looking at the change log for 2.3, I think I am going to hold off. I am really happy with 2.2 and hate the process of wiping my phone and having to reinstall all my apps, and setup my home screens.

I just put 2.2 on my wife's phone last night. I have been running Alliance 7.6 and think I will nandroid and flash MikG2.3 tonight and see how it is.

MikG 2.3 would be my choice.....well....is for the time being as I just flashed it.

Installing now. Got new radios and the swype .apk ready to go as well. I've loved his releases so far.

Power Off animation is awesome.

only trouble I had was force closing on first startup. restart was fine. gmail died, but just reinstalled it and everything seems ok so far.

It feels very fast

When I flashed 2.3 (after a clean wipe of course) I noticed that the Android Market is missing...Am I missing something, or is that the way it's supposed to be???

You may have gotten a bad download, I would try again. This issue with the market in the early releases was solved by doing a simple reboot though

Has anyone had an issue with their videos showing a completely black or white screen w/ audio? After reading some I think it's a kernel issue but not sure. Can anyone point me in the direction of compatible kernels? (Maybe this explains why my battery drops so fast too...)

Have you tried wiping cache/dalvik cache then rebooting? As for a different kernel, as of right now there isn't any custom kernels available for GB; HTC hasn't released the source code.

Wow, I love how smooth everything is. I've been using Synergy for a few weeks now. Had a bugs with the latest release, decided to come back and try Mik again. Very impressed, love the keyboard as well. Going to stick with this for a while.
