Root [ROM] ZombieStomped 1.7 (.595 DX GB Motoblur build)

would I have to flash back to froyo to try this ROM out? very interested.

If you're on the leaked, rooted, deodexed .596, I think you'd be ok. Just make sure its a clean version (meaning no other ROM flashed) and follow their instructions. Like novemberwhiskey said he had no problems, and I haven't had any.

Well I ask because I'm on the official OTA GB for my DX so if it works for the leaked version of GB I'm guessing I would have to go back to Froyo then flash to the leaked version of GB.

I came from CM7 and am now giving this one a go. :)

Let me know how this is. I may flash it. Ever since I was on cm7 my battery life has been suffering, its weird. Even Apex and Liberty have not given me the same battery life. I've cleared batt stats, calibrated the battery to no avail.

Basically, Im on the hunt for a new/fast ROM with decent battery life.

Cheers.

It was ok but not great for me and I did have a couple lock ups and reboots on day 1 which were discouraging after not having a single one on CM7. I'm back on plain .596 deodexed & rooted atm. Will probably just load BWC on it and stay put awhile. A revisit of Apex is tempting, however for me I don't like losing HDMI out which seems stripped out with the blur removal on Apex.

PS: On a side note, does anyone know how to get rid of the ZombiStomped foot that comes up on boot instead of the motorola logo? I nandroided back to .596 from this and that seems to be leftover now.

Edit: Nevermind, I found the boot logo replacer to revert back to stock here ->> http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-themes/9835-custom-boot-image-2.html#post86875
