Root [ROM] ZombieStomped 1.7 (.595 DX GB Motoblur build)

I came from CM7 and am now giving this one a go.

If you're on the leaked, rooted, deodexed .596, I think you'd be ok. Just make sure its a clean version (meaning no other ROM flashed) and follow their instructions. Like novemberwhiskey said he had no problems, and I haven't had any.

Well I ask because I'm on the official OTA GB for my DX so if it works for the leaked version of GB I'm guessing I would have to go back to Froyo then flash to the leaked version of GB.

Oh, yeah, if you're on the OTA, you'll have to flash back to FroYo, root it with z4root, then flash the pre-rooted GB .596, then flash ZombieStomped. All files and/or links can be found in the stickies.

Let me know how this is. I may flash it. Ever since I was on cm7 my battery life has been suffering, its weird. Even Apex and Liberty have not given me the same battery life. I've cleared batt stats, calibrated the battery to no avail.

Basically, Im on the hunt for a new/fast ROM with decent battery life.

Trooper, the battery life on ZombieStomped is great. It comes with the Imoseyon tweaks. My battery life on CM7 was a joke, which is why I went back to stock GB, and then after finding out I could flash ZS onto .596, I went to it immediately.

It was ok but not great for me and I did have a couple lock ups and reboots on day 1 which were discouraging after not having a single one on CM7. I'm back on plain .596 deodexed & rooted atm. Will probably just load BWC on it and stay put awhile. A revisit of Apex is tempting, however for me I don't like losing HDMI out which seems stripped out with the blur removal on Apex.

PS: On a side note, does anyone know how to get rid of the ZombiStomped foot that comes up on boot instead of the motorola logo? I nandroided back to .596 from this and that seems to be leftover now. :eek:

Made it back to Froyo - installing z4root now. Any chance I can have a link to get the rooted GB install?
