hello folks!
i got my Incredible S around 10 days back and worked like a charm - even installed the Gingerbread within minutes of connecting to WiFi.
later, i also installed Angry Birds and some simple widgets without any problems - except for the Google Picasa app that just didnt show up anywhere even though it was seen in the downloads notification.
so far so good, but trouble started some 5 days back, with the touchscreen becoming "selectively" unresponsive to some icons:
what i m afraid off is this problem growing over time ... anyone faced such an issue yet?? i m new to this forum - in fact, this is my first Android phone - please guide me to best solution.

so far so good, but trouble started some 5 days back, with the touchscreen becoming "selectively" unresponsive to some icons:
- the icons along the right hand side of the homescreen (including the search LED but NOT the personalise icon) just dont work - or do work randomly, maybe once in 100 tries. funny thing is that when in landscape mode, there is no problem in using any icons along the same side of the screen!
- same for the restart icon after i long press the power button.
- the backspace/delete icon while dialing numbers is totally unresponsive too, i've to come back to homescreen and then open the dialer again.
- some alphabet icons (separate in landscape and portrait modes) also refuse to work when using the alphanumeric keyboard.
- scrolling has lost its fluidity too and it has become somewhat problematic if i want to just scroll to a contact in my phone book.
what i m afraid off is this problem growing over time ... anyone faced such an issue yet?? i m new to this forum - in fact, this is my first Android phone - please guide me to best solution.
