Help Calculator - font too large?

Hi, I've been using the EVO 3D for a few weeks now. I noticed yesterday that the calculator (that is pre-installed on the phone) seems to have a really large font - the numbers are getting cut off on the right side and the bottom edge of all the buttons on the calculator!

I do not remember if this is how it was when I bought it originally (I don't use the calculator all that often). Does anyone else notice this? (IMO it doesn't look that good, and it doesn't seem to offer an option to change this look)

Mine does that - bizarre given that the operator symbols are properly centered.

The widget continues to look fine tho.

I have compatibility mode turned off using Spare Parts+ but I can't see that causing it.

Anyway, I prefer the Real Calc app.

That's what I use. Anyway, I thought someone at HTC thought it was cute & designed it that way. Nothing really wrong with it but I thought it would have made more sense if the operation symbols were big & off center like the numbers. Then we wouldn't question if it was purposely made to look like that.

This is really how it was? Wow! I guess I didn't use the calculator since I got the EVO 3D! I can't imagine not noticing this font right away... (this font is going to give me nightmares! lol!). It also doesn't seem to have the option to turn off the vibration when keys are pressed..

I'll look at other calculator applications.

Will have to check it out, for me Real Calc if great, but a little complicated for the wife, so I will check out discount calculator

Edit: looks like they make more than one, which one is she using

My wife uses Discount Calculator for hers.

Tap price to get straightforward calculator, input optional discount percentage, use your set default sales tax - boom! - easy and free and you're done.

Because not everyone wants a complicated calculator.
