EasyMoney Personal Money Manager (Updates & Announcements)

Thanks for the reminder Beards :)

To add on to what Beards has mentioned, please note that the Amazon Appstore is currently only available to customers located in the United States.

Also, if you are on AT&T network, you will not be able to purchase apps from Amazon Appstore. However, AT&T has recently announced that they will from now on allow 3rd party apps to run on their phones, starting with the latest Samsung Infuse 4G phone.

Yes, it is a shame the likes of Europe (UK for me) do not have access, as we miss out on quite a few things including offers such as yours and the free App of the day.
Unfortunately there does not appear to be any further development on when we can take advantage. As such there are many who feel left out and cheated.
Not your doing we know that... such a shame though it could not have met a wider audience.

Whilst I am here handyapps ~ Could you look into making a change in a future addition.
What I am proposing is to have in the 'Settings' of EasyMoney the ability to either 'Allow' or 'Disallow' the Widget.
The reason is it is one thing having Password protection which stops the program from launching but anyone who has temporary access to your phone can easily call up the EasyMoney widget and see at a glance all the totals from the accounts within the application.
By stopping the widget from being displayed then in turn stops anyone from finding out just how much you are worth or owe. :)

Hi Beards,

We wish that other parts of the world have access to the Amazon Appstore too.:)

The 'Allow' or 'Disallow' idea is a good function especially for those who wish to keep their accounts private. We will definitely look into that for our future upgrades. Thank you for your suggestion!

Hi all

This is really a great application. I come from the WM side and only recently got an Andriod phone. One of the programs i needed was a finance application where i can log all my account incomes and expenditures. In WM i was using SmartMoney, and as for now the only feature i miss here is the ability to choose check as payment mode and that the program remembers the number of the last check used.

Hi claus1953,

Thank you for your compliment! We have noted the payment mode feature and will consider them for future upgrades. Please be patient with us.

Also another thing, when i enter an amount for a transaction, after the first digit an error message pops up telling me that tha amount should be at least 1 or something like that. After cancelling the pop up message i can go on with entering the amount.

Hi claus1953,

Thank you for bringing this up. We may be implementing something else to avoid the error message for popping up in the future.

Hello,
your application is very interesting. Certainly the best Android.
Just one question: is it possible in reports to consider bills coming in the next few months?
Thank you

Hi flythetox,

Thank you for your kind words!

The reports do not take into considerations bills in the Bills Reminder and transfer transactions yet. However, you can view all other post transactions in reports such as 'Expense by Category', 'Income by Category' and 'Daily Balance Chart'.

To do so, press the Menu button in the specific report, select 'Change Period'
and scroll down to Post-Dated Transactions. Alternatively you may choose to input your Custom Date Range too.

Hi, I've just bought android phone and I'm looking for money management app.

Easymoney is quite well, except one (or two) features yet important for me:
* transfers between accounts having different currency
* 'projects' - is not stop factor (it could be simulated using budgets), but it will be great to have such a feature.

The first feature (transfers) already was requested by jjcc - is there any information about it?
Or maybe there is another way to register, for example, cash exchange from EUR to USD, or paying for some buying in pounds by Visa card in USD?

Hi forester,

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for your feedback. We are looking into these two features among others while planning for our future upgrades. Please be patient with us.

I have just started using EasyMoney and would really like to see a way to hide Reconciled transactions. If there is a way to do that now, I can't seem to find it.

Hi DynaBMan,

Thank you for using EZ Money Manager!

Currently, no transaction can be hidden. We will like to thank you for your feedback and take this into consideration when designing future upgrades. We do get lots of feature requests from other users as well so please be patient with us.

Thanks and regards

Would love to buy but only after the following features are implemented:

1) Need more choices when creating repeating transactions. Instead of just 0/14/30/45/60/90 days in advance, I need to be able to create repeating transactions until the end of the year or even better: until a specific date that I want.

2) When updating or deleting a repeating transaction, need option to update just the current occurrence or current and all future occurrences.

3) When showing balances in Account Overview, need to be able to pick a specific date. Right now there are only two choices hidden in Display Settings: Show Today's Balance or Include Future-Dated Transactions. I should be able to pick any date and the Account Overview screen should show the balance for all the accounts for that date.

+1 on all three. Actually remember having all three of those features on the app I used in PalmOS. I have money I transfer to certain savings accounts on a monthly basis along with loans and other fixed reoccurring debits. That ties into number two if I want to double up, pay less or just change that particular payment. maybe i want to raise the amount permanently, or if I had a good month and want to contribute more.

And having my fixed reoccurring debits, it'd be nice to see what my balance would be at certain points in the future that take those reoccurring debits into account. Easier to keep track of future cashflow which leads back to his #2 of making changes to reoccurring transactions.

Before I invest in downloading this app, I have a question please.

Are you able to set up your budget to run from and until a certain date?

For example my budget runs from 22nd (thereabouts) of each month until 21st (thereabouts) of the following month.

This is quite important to me, as it helps me to budget the remaining funds towards the end of the month.

Hi Goreygirl! Thanks for answering kezbabybabe.

Right now we only allow users to create monthly budgets that start at the 1st day of the month and reset every month.

We will take the mentioned feature into consideration for future upgrades. Do be patient with us.

That would be fantastic if you could, I'm sure I can't be the only one that budgets based on my pay dates. :)

I have downloaded the trial version and will have a play with that in the mean time, but what I have seen I am very impressed with. :D

dbpaddler,

Would the Palm app be pmtXL? It's the best ever! Sad to say, since I haven't found an Android app that works as well, I am still using it on my Treo650 if you can believe it!

Handyapps,

Please work on these 3 features, please.

I have an issue with my easy money full app. I have been able to insert a couple of transactions without a date assigned to them, which has upset the balance of my account. I’m unable to locate them using any of the settings within the app, particularly as the advanced search doesn't provide any date search.

Any suggestions on how I can locate these transactions so that I can amend or remove them?
