I'm sorry to post this again as a realise it's been asked 100's of times before but I simply can't seem to find a step-by-step answer I can understand;

I'm desperate to remove the annoying weather animation that appears when I unlock my screen, the stock forum answer seems to be 'Delete the widget from the home screen then add it back and uncheck the weather animation' but no one actually says how you do this?

when I go to settings > applications > manage apps > weather my only option is to 'force stop' which doesn't seem to do anything. I've seen people discussing ' 'beautiful widgets' but again i cant seem to find anything on my phone by that name. Do I need to connect it to my PC to sort the problem out?

Is there a way of taking weather of my home screen completely and just having the clock? the animation is driving me crazy! I honestly feel like putting the phone back in the box and just sending it back :(

Thanks,

C.

ok press and hold the actual widget until the whole widget turns green, then you should be able to drag it around the screen, ok drag it down to the bottom right where it will say remove.

to get the widget again click personalise ( bottom right that looks like a paint easel) then click widget then Browse all HTC widgets and then scroll right until you see the one you want, click select click Current or add a city, then untick the animation and your done :0)
