Martin Fields Screen Protectors (and Camera Protector)

I was wondering why there were LED cutouts too, and found out it was smart for them to do so -- the flash would likely result in internal light refraction within the screen protector causing image degradation. In other words, with it on, if you put your thumb over the LED flash with the light on, you'll see the screen protector's edges light up, as there is some internal light reflectance going on.

This is exactly why. My homemade camera screen protector does not have any cutouts for the flash and, when it's used, results in these internal reflections, causing the image to be washed out.

I have mine on already, I'll try to snap a photo of it this weekend. Fittment is pretty good, though slightly smaller than the full glass. About a ~.5-1mm smaller on all sides.

Thanks! Sounds about on par with any main screen, screen protector.

Oh yeah, brilliant thinking, that's exactly why they made that cut out! I should have thought that out. It could interfere with the image sensors, and give every picture a light-halo effect.
So even with the cut out is there is still some internal reflection going on (much less than without the cut out for sure)?

Per the earlier request -- photo of the screen protector in place.

I had to take it off to readjust the first time I applied -- it comes off quite easily with a little masking tape.

So I broke down and bought the Martin Fields protector just so I could get the camera protection.

Any tips on how to install this? I am not going to be using the screen protector, just the camera cover.

There should be some demonstration videos on YouTube. They basically take a piece of scotch tape and adhere it to the non-sticky side so you can handle and place the protector without getting any fingerprints on it.
