Basix for R910 Ver 1.0 first impression

K0? I see this thread is turning into a troubleshooting thread...
So I guess I'll follow suit.
I can indeed confirm that with 4tab, the phone reboots intermittently. Not the same with the other launchers, as far as I can tell... Switched back to AOSP until this is fully diagnosed... Don't mind being your guinea pig should you need one, though... ;)

Don't follow suit. Post where it belongs.

As far as diagnosing that goes, I will need a logcat, and to know whether you have a custom app assigned. If you do not, do so.

Love the new rom...but there's no notification tones...does anyone know how I can set some custom ones?

If you want the original notifications that were on the phone k0nane said go to, /system/media/ and delete .nomedia then reboot the phone and youll have them all back. for some other tones i dwnloaded the app Zedge from the market (Free) hope this helps.

They are in at LEAST 2 places: the root of the drive "/" and in /system/media.
Make sure you are mounted as r/w by reading /data.
If you can read that directory, then you should be fine.
Then delete ALL .nomedia files from / all the way down to /system/media along the path.
In other words, if you find .nomedia at /, delete it. you find it at /system/ delete it. You find it at /system/media, delete it.
Also, I believe some other sounds are to found in /etc check that directory out to...

You would know where your data went if you read the first posts in the Basix thread. ;)

I have tested both ROMS, Basix and Exodus. and I also have the extended battery 3500mah. I am about to calibrate the battery and wipe the Dalvik's cache, I am using Basix right now and I want to make sure that the ROM has nothing to do with the battery life, but this is what's happening right now: I'm just doing 4G browsing with no Apps/Services running in the background and I have the my Indulge connected to the wall charger, and the battery drops 1% every 3-4 minutes!!!
The previous day I had the stock ROM installed and rooted of course, and I listened music for 1 hour and the phone only lost 4% of battery, XD.... and Yes, I had done the calibration at 100% and wipe all the stats.
The reason why I'm writing this is because I really like the Basix ROM but I don't want to believe that it has some programming bug or conflict with hardware that makes the battery lose so much power, I have used the Exodus and it seems that it works just slightly better than the stock ROM, therefore I will return tomorrow to let you know how it went after calibrating with the Basix ROM.

One thing I've also noticed is that with the Basix ROM the phone randomly sends data for long intervals of time (about 2-3 min) and then it stops. Does anyone have any idea why?

Screw this ROM!!! It's been only 20 minutes, and all I did was browsing and arranging my apps on the screen, and I have lost 10% of battery power. I'm going back to the stock rom, but before that I'll try Exodus to see if it has the same problem. I don't trust Basix anymore. nice themes and visuals but highly unrecommended.
