I played it for about 15 looks good and controls great. I can't fault the game but it maybe too casual for me. Though, I'm the guy who has gotten all 120 stars on Mario 64 and Mario Galaxy so I'm a big platforming fan & critic. Couldn't test it enough to see if it was a keeper for platformer veterans, but everyone else should enjoy immensely from what I did play. Been playing platformers about 20 years since I was around 5 maybe younger. Never got to get a powerup or change in gameplay from my short test.

Updated opinion a few posts down. Check it out if your interested.

Console quality graphics is a big stretch, especially if they were talking about PS3/360 games.

Yeah I know. Just going off their promos. Still looks good though. Maybe handheld console?:) Also noticed from PC it looks better the bigger your screen is but I heard its not support certain tablet sizes so hopefully it get updated for really large screens.

Check out this review of Roboto over at Android Central. Pretty much sums up my feelings of the game after playing it a bit more. :)

Hmm he still didn't give any details past the 15 min point. I could of wrote that I pretty much saw all of that. For $3 I'm probably rebut. Does the gameplay change at all? Plus this game is getting a ton of promotion so they may have been paid. Really would like a thorough review.

I played this but refunded in the end.

It looks great - but I wasn't hooked to be honest. It also annoyed me the game doesn't close down properly (so hogs your battery) but also I found the controls quite fiddly when you turned upside down etc. Has great potential and it definitely looked great and played fun don't get me wrong - but just not for me :)

FWIW here's a full unbiased review by Paul Devlin over at Pocket Gamer covering the game's goodness and flaws.

Thanks yeah that was real review. I think what made me return it was it didn't feel original plus the hooverboard was unreliable on a certain stage. Sometimes I would go up a wall with ease other times I would be sent pummeling to my death. (Disregard)

Updated my opinion a couple of posts below after having time with the PC demo and not being rushed. Though I am an awesome pc gamer lol.

Added link to PC Demo in OP. After having more time to demo the game from my PC I can definitely say the game is worth buying. Now, I just hope it controls as beautiful on my Evo 3D as my pc this time. Also, I think I learned why skating up walls was problem, which was my major complaint. If you hold the jump button you can only go up a wall so far (sometimes barely) because you have a limited skate boost, but I found out its better in most cases not to hold jump to skate up a wall. Instead, jump on a wall and then press jump again to do a double jump and you will get a much high booster plus another in air holding boost to get you where you need to go.

As far as challenge goes I think its perfect for a mobile phone game not to hard not to easy. I know they wanted it to be balanced for casusal players but challenging enough for veteran not to be bored. I found a way to do just that. Yeah the game isn't to hard to get all the cogs and beat a stage, but to get all the cogs and energy balls is another story to get 100% on everything. Im going to ask the developers to add this feature to the game so veterans or hardcore gamers have an extra challenge. Plus the game has open Feint leaderboards for each level what's better than challenging other gamers high scores on a platformer.

Feels like a blend between Megaman and Mario for sure. Highly recommend if you're a platforming fan.
