I didn't encounter that, but it is worth considering that it might be a coincidence. I've had my share of micro USB connectors wear out to the point where if they're not perfectly positioned, they won't charge, and so I've woken up to a phone that only had a partial charge like yours before if I remember right.

One way to prove it is to backup your current rom, restore your last backup, see if the problem goes away, and restore this one again, and see if the problem returns.

Also consider that you need to run a battery calibration when you install a new rom. that involves charging it to 100% successfully, and then deleting the batterystats.bin file--easiest way is to do that is use this guy's app: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1024867.

I know that the wire gets loose and doesn't charge sometimes but when I woke it up this morning I saw the charge icon on. Thanks for your suggestion though. I didn't know about the battery calibration so I guess I should try that... if I can get it to 100%

Well.. what I have encountered is that after flashing the rom, everything is fine but after the screen goes to sleep mode the phone will not wake again...I had to keep removing the battery in order to be able to use the phone again.. at first I thought it was something wrong with my phone, but I restored it to the previous Rom and it does not do this...Im thinking something's wrong with this Rom... Im sure you will ask if I did a complete wipe... yes I did.

Mmmm are you sure that you flashed Sense Rom??
Because that problem sounds like you flashed CM7 and forgot to disable the screen on and off animations. LOL

I did the calibration yesterday at 68% but today when I woke up it said 100% so I guess that worked. Thanks for letting me know about that!

First of all, Joneidy, as I said before, you are a genius and when I can afford it I will assuredly donate to your crusade against bloatware.

Reason for the post:
Does anyone else crash/boot when you have the Pro Player (music player) on in Landscape mode?
On the newer version of Sense Rom with R.O.C.K Any Rom

Mmm well I have always use Pro Player on landscape mode. But I don't remember if I used it with the new version of the rom.

Right now I'm running Cm7 that a compile a couple of days ago. I really don't want to flash other rom at the moment. I still want to see if I found any bugs on this rom.

But I'm almost sure that your problem has to do with overclocking speed. Try lower it down and see if you still have the problem.

I've used it and it works fine in landscape or portrait, no matter.

Speaking of PlayerPro, I've run into an odd issue between it and Root Explorer. Not an end of the world kinda thing at all, but kinda annoying at times. When browsing through audio files in Root Explorer, say if I'm trying to pinpoint the file for a particular notification noise, the first couple times of clicking on one and having it automatically open PlayerPro, it'll pretty much work. After that, any audio file will bring up PlayerPro for a split second, and then PlayerPro will die (no FC toast, it just disappears and stops playing) and go back to Root Explorer.

This ROM is sweet. I decked everything out and have it nearly where I want it. Metro phones are cheap, bloated things with lousy aesthetics and I know of people with little knowledge of android returning theirs. This ROM plus all the things rooting and novel apps can do have really made a hundred dollar phone (online sale) worth way more.

By the way, Juice Defender is an amazing app that has really saved the awful battery life on this thing. I'm looking forwards to SetCPU to lower the idle cpu speed down to a minimum and higher when I want the thing to fly. This thing used to be a toy but it has potential to be a little workhorse for me.

Thanks so much for the work on this. Its flawless.
