Help Navigation says I have no contacts with addresses

Lately when I select the Navigation icon to plot a route the application says I have no contacts with addresses.

Specifically, I select the Navigation icon - which takes me to the screen entitle "Driving" and there are 4 choices - Speak destination, Type destination, Contacts and Starred places. If I select "Contacts" to pick a contact to drive to, I get a screen that says: "You don't have any contacts with addresses. You can add new contacts or set addresses for existing contacts in the Contacts app."

I have lots of Contacts with addresses and I have used this application dozens of times and it has always taken me to my list of contacts with addresses.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Thanks
Steve

I wonder if there is a way to un-do the last google maps update.

Yes there is, but I have never personally tried it.

Settings> Applications> Manage Applications> Downloaded
Scroll to Maps and open it
Click Uninstall Updates.

Like I said, I've never done it, so I can't say how many updates it deletes, or if it's just the latest one. I'd say if the bug is that big of a deal, go for it.

Thanks. I did this and maps works great now. I was never unhappy with the maps app so I don't miss whatever updates I just uninstalled.

I was having this problem too, and it's the most annoying thing since we found out there was no Bluetooth Voice Dial capability.

I followed the suggestion to uninstall the update, and that fixes it, but it does reset you to the beta version. Not sure if there is a way to download and install the second to last update, which I really liked.

The reset has a black screen, instead of white, and doesn't have any Menu options.

Anyone out there know if there is a way to download the last ***working*** update?

Thanks,
Dave.
