I set my power saving mode to turn on when battery reaches 10% but even though it's fully charged power saving is still enabled :(

I don't have any problems with it but I just get irritated when I see it on the notifications. And still there is something wrong with my phone since it should enable it during 10%

Yea that was annoying for me too. It hasn't actually gone into power saving mode yet, its just showing that its active. When your battery reaches the level you set it to, then it will ask you if you want to activate power saving mode.

I agree that it doesn't have to show in the notifications bar though. I have gotten used to it though. It will stop bothering you after a while.

yeah that bothers me too.. like third party apps, its a shame that a stock app doesnt let u choose if u want a notification or not. its not enabled, just showing that it WILL be enabled when ur battery hits ur low level.

thats not the only reason i dont use it though.. (not sure about newer firmwares) but when i last tried it, it activates when my battery hits the low, but when its charged back up and the power saver mode is turned off.. it doesnt turn back on the stuff it turned off! e.g. i set it to reduce brightness, turn off auto sync, wifi etc.. none of them are turned back on automatically. i have to manually set those back to how it was. i hope they've fixed it. if not, im gonna continue never using it

I'm not sure that power savings mode is actually off and only showing a notification until it is set to activatev. I have set the screen to timeout in only a few seconds while in power savings.mode, and set it to activate at 10% battery power. Not only does it say that power savinvgs mode is enabled in the status bar all the time (despite also notifying me at 10% that it wi be activated), but even at 100% the screen times out early and not according to the regular settings that are used when power savings mode is.not.used and left unchecked in settings.

Any ideas?

hmm, as far as i know, the notification only means that its enabled, not activated. but like i said in my previous post, if ur battery goes below ur low (10% in ur case), and it activates.. even after u charge it, those same 'power saver mode' settings are applied. u need to manually turn them off (i.e. increase ur screen timeout) which really sucks
