Root [CDMA] Who rom are you guys using?

I'm running viper 1.3 with this kernel [Kernel][RCMIX EVO 3D][Cifs][Nls][Tun][OC 2GHZ] - xda-developers and loving it. I tried another kernel for a day or so, but that thing was killing my battery and kept my phone warm. This combo is perfect and it is so fast. I couldn't go back to stock now. I'm going to try the showdown rom once it gets to the second version. There's been some great feedback for it.

I am using Showdown1.0 1.85GHZ its fast light and so far battery life is good. Am still waiting on CM7. I had GerbilSense-6 Shooter-w/Netarchy Kernel-updt but that was horrible on my battery. I should have waited for it takes some time for the battery to get use to a new Rom. I see Gerbil-shooter_V2 has a new rom out might try that after i let showdown stay for a week. Here is a few shots of the 6 shot shooter.

That's the kernel I had for a few days that was destroying my battery.

I've been running mik's rom since the day after revolution went public and have been fairly happy with it. Due to the lack of updates I'm getting ready to try viper out to see if it is what everyone says it is. When mik puts out an update though I'll come running back. :)

By the way, I've been running netarchy's kernal for about a week and haven't noticed any problems at all with the kernal or the battery.

ROM : Viper RC1.3

Kernel : Netarchy SBC Test 5

Recovery : TWRP 1.0.3

Observations :The ROM is very stable! Battery life could be better. RC 1.2 is snappier over 1.3.

I have tried a bunch of kernels, and my current one seems to be the best IMO, closely followed by the stock one!

I recommend the Netarchy silverneedle Test 5 ( SBC or not ) if you want to run the OC Daemon ( over and under clocker ) script, otherwise the stock HTc kernel is pretty darn good as of now!!

Basically a great smooth ROM with no Sprint Bloatware, unlocked HotSpot, lots of free RAM and decent battery life! :)

I am on ViperROM 1.3, kernal it comes with

the battery was amazing and went 2 days right after i flashed it. then i calibrated it and now it's taking it's sweet cycles to come back to that battery life. It's getting there though. I still have yet to fully wipe, lol

The viper team responds to every legitimate question or concern over in his xda app. can't wait for his next update

oh and hotspot unlocked to pass 3g, and wifi tether comes with it to pass 4g

I downloaded ADW and don't like having to go menu-more-settings-more-etc-etc to get to the menu. will wait until cm7 hopefully comes with it built in

I flashed Viper ROM as my first non- stock ROM. I didn't care for it, so I planned to load a new ROM.

In preparing to flash Senseless, I realized I neglected to do a full reset prior to installing Viper.

When I get bored with Senseless (I've used it nearly a week, so that should be soon), I have all intentions of flashing Viper again, but doing it properly this time, to see how I like it.

I've posted up CleanROM v 1.3 in this forum. It's the first ROM on my Evo 3D and I'm liking it so far. I've not come across any technical issues with it so far. He added a few small tweaks like GPU accel, gps off icon removed, green overscroll, window animations, removed bloat, cool battery+percentage icon, 4-1 boot, pre-installed kernel manager (he's tested with the three ROMs and report they all work) and few other things. I'll try other ROMs, of course, but I'm going to sport this one for a while and see where it goes. So far, so good.

Not telling you your business - but setCPU was happy going down that low on that kernel when you scanned it? That's kinda cool, mine only goes down to 384. :)
I clicked on device selection auto detect speeds. I am trying to figure this out but all i want is good battery useage and speed when i need it. Thanks i am using it and its not bogging in any way what so ever

I'm on the netarchy kernel so these things vary - nice to know about your experience and that option!! :)
