Does the EMMC partition get wiped during a factory reset or just the data partition?
Thanks,
Jeff
You can either wipe it or not. Unless you're giving the phone to somebody else, there is no need to do that.

I am not looking forward to the "gingerbread broke my phone" threads plus the general backlash that will occur when everyone realizes gingerbread was nothing to get excited about.
Guys, it's pretty simple.
If he is a troll, ignore him and he'll go away. If he's not legit, time will tell. If you don't like what he has to say, ignore him.
AF isn't in the business of banning users because they are unliked. AF isn't in the business of requiring users to prove themselves or who they are.
Be the better person and ignore his posts if they bother you.
We've had plenty of users in the past who have proven to be LEGIT when everyone thought they were fakes. Not saying this is the case here or not....
Remember, our Forum Rules and Zero Tolerance Policy are clear when it comes to users being rude to other users. Don't get yourself banned over frustration with another user. Don't get this thread closed because it can't stay ON TOPIC.
Feel free to PM me directly if there are any concerns.
did anyone get it yet>?
I'd also like to let everyone know I called it back in February, others have tried to steal my thunder but I was first. See link below for proof

So now that the Gingerbread Update talk is so last week. When do we all think the Incredible will get upgraded to ICS?

Yeah, that's not going to happen anytime soon if ever at all---unless rooted! We'll all have a new phone by then though...Que up the ICS speculation thread!
I asked this earlier but don't think the reply was what I was looking for. Now that an upgrade appears to be a reality, I'll try again...
My DINC is not on a Verizon data plan since I use a prepaid service for the phone. How do I go about upgrading via WiFi? A second question...what is the best way to back-up app data if I'm not rooted? Many thanks.
Nobody yet, huh? Perhaps the spider monkeys are still having an influence
