Screen protectors

So what does everyone use to protect their phones? I searched around and have read many reviews about different products, but none of which were written by Evo3D owners. I was looking more at getting a screen protector than an actual case.

HTC Evo 3D Screen Protectors | HTC Evo 3D Full Body Protectors | XtremeGuard | HTC Evo 3D Skins | HTC Evo 3D Cases | HTC Evo 3D Accessories | HTC Evo 3D Screen Covers | HTC Evo 3D Screen Guards | HTC Evo 3D Shields | HTC Evo 3D Clear Cases

The link provided has the Xtreme Guard Evo3D screen protector for $5.00, but you can use xg80off44Z to get 80% off of your order with free shipping.

Has anyone had this? Is it worth getting for a dollar? lol..

Also, some friends of mine have these anti-glare and "fingerprint proof" screen protectors on their iPhones and such. I haven't seen them around for the 3D, but has anyone else? And would this type of screen protector affect the way the 3D pops out at you?

Any help would be very much appreciated!

I use the phantomskinz, the matte/antiglaire and antifingerprint cause issues when viewing in 3d, but it depends if you want the wet apply or the static stick on protector

http://phantomskinz.com/htcevo3d.aspx
also comes with a camera protector

When I first got this phone, I went to the mall and got a screen protector from one of those stands, that only sold screen protectors. For $20, they put on a screen protector that you should ever be able to scratch. While that may be true, the screen had a tacky, sticky feel to it. I took the chance on one of those ebay protectors. Ordered 5 of them for like $3. Took me only one try to put it on and it's stayed on ever since. no bubbles or anything. Best, cheapest screen protector, evar! :D

I use the eBay ones too, they're super cheap and easy to apply. The only downside is that they scratch easily but at least the screen is protected.

I use the Steinheil Ultra clear. I have used Zagg and Phantomskinz. Ended up removing both. The Steinheil feels smooth as the glass unprotected and eventually becomes anti-fingerprint by itself. I used to smudge it so much, but dealt with it because it was clear and felt smooth. Now, after a month of use and multiple cleanings with microfibre cloth, it's smooth and doesn't show finger prints.

What I'm not liking about my Zag protector is that if I happen to have something else in the same pocket as my phone and it rubs up against the screen, it somehow offsets the screen protector, leaves welps, indents it, or whatever you want to call it. It's to the point that it looks like scratches on the glass itself. Fortunately it's not, but for two days straight now, there have been instances where now my screen has marks on it (kind of like pillow face) that don't seem to go away.

I realize keys and cell phones don't mix in the same pocket well, but that's not the case here. I had a very compact mp3 player sharing the same pocket with my3DV0, with the headphones wrapped around the mp3 device. It's possible that the earplugs may have shifted in my pocket to the screen side, but it wouldn't cross my mind that they could do any real damage. I'm thinking the only way of correcting this is to replace the screen protector altogether... Maybe I'll have to dig out my receipt and waranty and ask InviShield for another one... Unless some of you recommend those places stationed at mall kiosks that claim to have indestructible.

That's the first I've ever heard of that. I keep keys and cell phone and lighter in the same pocket all the time and I haven't had a problem with it.I wonder why it is moving so easily...only issue I've had with them is that if you do not have a case that covers the sides, dust eventually gets on the corners.
