Help Camera app locking up during preview.

Iv had a problem with my camera since the day i bought the phone, everytime i take a few pictures the camera freezes, waits on the picture and then auto closes and wont reopen. I kill it several times then it will finally reopen and then it happens a few pics later. It stunk as i needed the cam for my cousins wedding and other fun events. Happening to anyone els? A fix? Ive tried clearing data and cache :( no help there

I moved your post to this thread. Please read the info above. I hope it helps.

I am not sure if the latest update will fix this or not. When it happens, I restart the phone, and the problem goes away for a day or two. It may have something to do with RAM or cache as the problem goes away after a restart.

I changed the review duration setting to no review. I haven't had the lock up issue and it allows me to take pictures in rapid succession. I also read a great article that gives excellent tips on changing default settings according to subject matter and environment. I have noticed since the update that I don't need to change the default settings quite as often but this is still some great information. The link is below. I hope this helps!

A couple of action shots of my cat. These were taken in low light and turned out pretty decent considering.
