Root Froyo Android 2.2 CFW for wildfire

Its not bad this custom rom, still needs tweaking, but is perfectly usable. But yes i am gagging for the cyanogen 6.1 rom :p

I cant wait for the official froyo update.

Yeah, I have defrost on the desire which is based on cyanogen. One of androids selling points is customisability. But youy don't know customisability until you've gone cyanogen.

i've seen these earlier too.. doesnt work for me.. i think i am kinda screwed here.. the dumb thing i did is that i actually updated the firmware to android 2.2.1 (when they offered an update form the HTC site.) and since its 2.2 now.. the dumb thing doesnt allow me to install a custom ROM.. any related help would be most welcome..

thanked you for the effort though..

Received OTA update to 2.2 yesterday from 3UK. It doesn't appear to be much different. I do like the portable wi-fi hotspot though. Hoped it would've allowed removal of applications like 'Footprints; FriendStream; Twitter etc).

recieved it from india.. but it only got me in a tough spot w.r.t the fact that i cant mod my handset to the custom roms like wildpuzzle and all.. the thing is once you accept this update and update your firmware.. rooting is not possible..
