Root backup memos

how can you synch the memos onto your computer so that you can restore after doing a factory reset? Im helping a friend of mine with her galaxy and i cant seem to find a synch program like there is for my evo. anyone know how to accomplish this? help a brotha whose helpin a sistah out y'all!! LoL
 
well, the phone isnt rooted so TiB isnt an option.... Id hate to think that id hafta ADB into the damn thing just to get the memos off it n so forth... of course verizon guys are of no help either. Its not my phone, and i dont have easy access to it to dink around with it either. Ugh, theres gotta be a way to do this without root access.

I figured out how to save your memo notes.

1) You need a rooted phone and a Root Explorer App which enables you to browse through system folders. (Normal file explorers wouldn't work)

2) Memo is actually a database file with the name "Memo.db" located in /dbdata/databases/com.sec.android.app.memo

3) Goto above folder and copy the "Memo.db" to your external SD card.

4) After format/flashing, root the phone and copy back this file to the same place.


Even if there is an app available to do this for you, it will still require Rooted device.
