Root {ROM}[Pure Gingerbread]OMGB 1.2.2{2.3.5}

thanks guys... ya, i did flash the GApps

and the 13p radio.. although.. coming from stock GB.. I think 13p is worse than I was before trying the ROM thing..

maybe best to try to go back to 7p radio? or 12p?

thanks for the help!

Cool.. grabbed the OI File manager, so now I can see stuff. Should I install the bootstrapper... or just leave it alone? As in do yall have it installed normally, mae it easier to flash a another 2int ROm once I DL's to sd?

What else should I look for..as I haven't bothered to root before, but now have it. Would TB make it easier to restore apps/ data post ROM flashing.. or do you normally just know what ya use and re install.. I realize the whole wireless tethering thing seems to be done..for now anyway...

Clockwork Recovery is built into the ROM. Hold down the power button, press reboot, and then click "Recovery" and then click "ok." Using the Droid 2 Bootstrapper will require an SBF IIRC.

I also recommend ES File Manager - best one I've used to date from the market.

I haven't noticed a difference with the radio update. Only thing different is signal level.

TB is definitely a must if you need to backup and restore app data.
