Lockscreen stays on when notification comes in

I don't know if anyone else has this issue but this started happening a week ago whereby my lockscreen would stay on after it receives a notification and I would have to press the lock phone button to turn it off.

I have auto turn off screen every 30 seconds but yeah.

Any suggestions?

Maybe if you got Tasker and told it to turn off screen when it gets notifications?.....

Does it stay on indefinitely? I haven't had any problem with the stock firmware where it would light up and turn off after 1 second but now recently using the Cyanogen Mod 7 for the SGS2 I noticed sometimes that the screen would "forget" to turn off. Not just when receiving notifications but in other areas as well. I suspect this problem to be a firmware bug so you should try updating if updates are available. KH3 2.3.4 is the latest to date.

Yeah, that's essentially the problem. Screen forgetting to turn off.

The latest firmware update hasn't been released here yet but once it does, I'll be sure to do that. Thanks.
