Hi EP

I hadn't logged in for a long time but as far as I recall nope I didn't.

It seems to have been down for months now; you'd wonder how long it takes to sort this out.

I've tried downloading myphoneexplorer on my laptop but I use Ubuntu and it doesn't seem to launch even though I've configured it with WINE. I need to back up my phone as I want to try a factory reset to try sort out my signal problems before I contact HTC. It's mainly my apps I'm concerned about as I can back up my contacts with google and my music etc on my SD card.

Any suggestions on how to back up my apps? Or should they auto re-install after the factory reset when I relaunch my accounts?

did i dream this or something but i swear there was gonna be a feature on htcsense.com where you could send sms on your phone but through your computer.

anyone remember this or am i just imagining things?!

You're right....the one week it worked for me (Last October) I was able to view and manage my text messages as well as send them via HTCSense.

If I remember there was 4 maybe 5 screens:

Locate Phone
Locations
Contacts
SMS Messagges

My advice to anyone is give the free version of Lookout Mobile Security a try. It does most of what HTC sense said it could and it protects your phone at the same time.
