Help Audio out volume.

You mean Aux In I think.

It's possible the level of the output is lower from the MT than the Itouch. I was helping a friend with a Nook color, and he was complaining about the audio output level vs. his iPhone. So we found a program that would boost the audio gain of the device when he was watching Youtube or Netflix videos. You don't want to saturate the Aux in of the stereo.

I don't know if this will help but, try downloading the MixZing player from the Market. It has Equalizer controls, and I think you can bump things a bit.

So I have noticed that when I hook my MT to an aux audio out (car stereo for example) it is very quite compared to my Itouch. Was wondering if it was meant to be that way or if there is something I can do to increase the default volume out.

There's apparently a bug with the Triumph (or maybe it's something to do with the Android OS, but it certainly happens on my Triumph) where a notification causes the media volume to drop significantly.

I've noticed this a number of times. I'll be driving along with my Triumph connected to the aux port on my car, I'll get a notification and suddenly the volume drops on the music that was playing.

If you go into the sound settings, you'll see the media volume level hasn't gone down even though it has gotten quieter.

People have posted that if you make a call or something (I don't know the exact fix) then it fixes it temporarily.

It's a bit of a pain, as I sometimes hook up the phone and it starts out at the low volume, other times its at the high volume. I'm just waiting for either Moto to fix it or (more likely) for a custom ROM to come out that fixes it.

Actually, I tried mine out yesterday for the first time, plugging it into my car's auxiliary, and my immediate impression was that my Triumph put out a much stronger signal than my old Optimus V. Can't say if it is louder than an iPod because I haven't used one in so long, but the Triumph actually produced very good sound through my car speakers.

I actually have both problems, the media volume is too soft sometimes, and too loud other times. I use ear buds, and I'm not plugging into an aux in jack.

When I first boot the phone, the media volume is too low. For lots of sources and some lower volume level music, I can't get it quite loud enough.

Then after a day or so, for reasons I have yet to figure out, the media volume will then become loud. I definitely prefer it this way, but it's true the even the lowest setting is still fairly loud.

Then if a notification comes in and triggers a sound, the media volume goes back to being soft. I can restore the louder sound by pulling out the ear buds for about 5 seconds and plugging them back in again.

Definitely buggy.
