Facebook Friend request confirmation link

Is anyone else having this problem?

When I receive a Facebook Friend request via email and click on the included link to confirm the request, it appears to start to load but then the screen goes all white and just stays that way. If I hit the menu button with this white blank screen, the address bar pops up on top , hit the menu button again and the address bar goes away but still an all white screen - the page never loads.
Other links seem to work when included in emails. It's just with Facebook links I'm having issues.

I have that exact problem. No idea how to fix it though :(

As usual, after a week of trying to figure this out, I found the 'fix' within 15 minutes after starting this post. Well, maybe I can at least be a help to TENtimesFAST and some others.

Apparently you have to uncheck Mobile View on the Hero. I did this by selecting Menu>More>Settings>Mobile View (uncheck) while the page was trying to load and there she was - popped right up!

Not sure if this is normal behavior as now every time you go to a web page, it will be full view and not mobile. Anyone know of way to select it per site instead of globally?

Hmmm...I'll have to do a little extra digging to find that because I'm on the droid and am running 2.0 so the menu system is a little different. Nonetheless, nice to know there is a resolution to this!

Thanks!

I have this problem as well but it is for all facebook links. Ill get an email telling me to click the link and it opens the browser and goes all white just like the OP said. It was working fine for a while but has stopped recently, I cannot remember whether it was before or after I rooted my phone.
