Help Battery problems!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

For some reason my phone is always stuffing up.
Anyways cause my wifi wasn't working i updated it to 2.3.5
Then everything was working well until today (which is sunday)
i charged it until it was 100%. Then did stuff with it.
Then my friend did something to it (i think)
After that the battery status was all stuffed uo.
It said it was 23% then 80% and stuff like that.

And now my battery is on 35%.
Usually my battery lasts 2/3 days before i charge it.

PLEASE could anyone help!!!!!

(i heard that if you go into recovery and wipe battery status
it could fix the problem??)
Anyone did it before????????

Charge the phone for atleast 6 hours then boot to recovery, go to advanced then wipe battery status and say yes, and it should fix the issue.

Just to add to that - make sure the phone is still connected to the charger when wiping the battery stats.

I need HELP!!! my lg optimus wont charge & when I put it on the charger it powers off, then the buttons at the bottom flicker HELP ME

That would seem like a hardware error, If I had to guess it seems like there is a short somwhere in the phone, it could be because the phone got wet somtime, that is probably the most common cause of shorts.

Sounds like it needs to be sent to lg for repair, or if you bought insurance when you bought the phone I would suggest you go through them because if it is from somthing like water damage your warrenty will not cover it because it is classed as accidental damage and lg would charge you.

i tried the method to wipe battery status..
have to check the battery status for 2-3 working days..
