Blink 182 when they did their reunion tour. Though they didn't play Adam's song it was the best concert I've been too. I've been to a few small bars with some live local bands but nothing to post about lol. It really brings back memories from when I was younger.
Isobell Campbell and Mark Lanegan at Manchester Cathedral last month. Great setting for a gig but unfortunately the fire alarms went off before they finished and we had to evacuate the building
Turned out later that someone had left a toaster on somewhere.
Finch live in Newport as part of the comeback tour.
Off to see Napalm Death And Glassjaw on wednesday though............ I hope they play Lovebites and Razorlines seeing as my other favourite, You think you're (John ****ing Lennon), is confirmed as the opening song
Ha, my friend high-texted me from their Atlanta show.
I just saw Alkaline Trio, mewithoutYou and The Drowning Men on Thursday. The Drowning Men were awesome, reminded me of Modest Mouse and Arcade Fire. mewithoutYou was the best of the night and had the most energetic set I have ever seen. Alkaline Trio sounded good but had no energy. Next show is Hawthorne Heights, which I know will be good based on the 3 times I've seen them.
I saw Downhere at their church in Nashville Tennessee in July. I was there for a fan gathering. Yes I flew. best Christian rock band ever for those select few interested.
Did you like mwY? I'm finding that most Alk3 fans who hadn't heard of them didn't. Which brings me to think that Alk3 superfans dislike anything not PUNX.
