Im not sure what's going on, but I noticed that my TiBu was giving me problems with permissions, and I just opened up Rom mananger to get into recovery, and it is showing no clockwork mod installed, then I try to install it and I get an error...now I cant restore from a backup...what is this??

STOP USING ROM MANAGER. Jesus. Rom Manager is garbage and should ONLY EVER BE USED FOR FLASHING THE LATEST RECOVERY. If this is how youre doing everything, youre creating your own problems. Use Recovery. You can boot into recovery or Hboot via the power button. Use it.

I was trying to flash the latest recovery because it is saying I don't have it...I don't use ROM manager for anything except flashing the latest recovery, and renaming my backups, Ive been warned by yeahha and Scotty lol

Alright good. Then I apologize for the caps. lol.

It really seems like youve got a super user issue.

Try flashing this older version of SU and lemme know if you have any issues.

I think you might have hit it right on the head, just tried opening the SU app, and got an FC...flash via recovery right?

Yessir. It seems as though LOTS of people are experiencing issues with the latest beta 4 of SU. Imma have to guys look into that once Ziggy is done building a kernel for 2.3.4 for the Evo3D.

Also, for those having issues with CWM recovery, there are two alternate recoveries for us now. Amon RA and TWRP unofficial build. I personally use CWM Recovery 5.0.2.0 atm and not having any issues.

Hey guys I know that this is a known issue right now but I wanted to add to the list of people having problems with SetCPU. I put it on my T-bolt and everything was fine at first. I set the lag free and changed the settings to what was posted earlier in this thread. I had left set at boot unchecked but then checked it later. I made a phone call and when I got off of the phone at some point without my knowledge my phone turned off. When I turned it back on it kept freezing and rebooting. I was finally able to act fast enough to uninstall the program and my phone rebooted on it's own one last time and it's running fine now. Just wanted to get my issue out there to try and help solve the problem in anyway I can. By the way I'm running the Synergy rom.

Note to self....don't try to mess with the functions of the CPU on my phone. lol

This is one of the issues being fixed in the upcoming release with a fresh base. The current one has tooooo many issues.

Hey McLabia, ive read this and it seems your the helpfull guy in the thread so....

Flashed this today, wiped everything, flashed the new radio then did the rom. Im getting alot of lag opening up the app drawer, messages, and pandora has slight skipping going on in the music when i do either of these. Also when i scroll through the drawer it lags as well.

Currently have it OC to 1.4ghz with setcpu and still has an issue. Tried reflashing as well....suggestions?

Kinda the way things are atm. Theyre working on fixing the ROM from the baseline up. Itll be a couple days, but itll be fixed. I dont get any lag though, but I know that a lot of others are.

Damm, ok. Any other good roms to use in the mean time that you would suggest? lol, i like this one alot other then the stuttering issue's. Was using Bamf's GB rom before this but it seems he has stopped updating, couldnt find anything new for it

I just started getting lag too aout 45 minutes ago. restarted phone and "seems" to be better

Are you two using sense? If so, that may be the reason you're seeing lag and I'm not. I've got it stripped out and I use GOLauncher.

I am using sense, I hope that after this reflash with the beta 2 SU my lag disappears....if not, I guess I'm headig back to uberbamf 3..so far that's the best Rom I have been on aside from synergy...the lag is killing me

Try it without sense before you do that. I suspect thats part of the reason theyre having to start from scratch. If you still have lag, I would suggest removing all sense widgets and freezing sense AFTER installing a third party launcher. I would recommend GOL, but Ive heard good things about SBP Shell or something close to that.

As a heads up, there will be a completely rebuilt build coming later today or tomorrow at the latest. They're on the final stage of things. It'll fix a lot of issues.

Btw, the download site does automatic updates every four hours if there is a change. I would check the repo before flashing these because they may be incomplete just like unofficial 213 is. Eschelon is currently finish up part two of the framework and mods. Only when theyre official would I fully recommend flashing them. Other times, I would check with me or read the repo for a definitive answer.

The build should be finished tonight. I will post back when its done.

Imo, nothing beats the baked in kernel with the way things are tweaked. You can flash in any kernel you want, but results may vary from it works to "Well, Im sure glad I made that nandroid" lol.

anything on that new build..I've got r210 as my latest, charging the phone now, and gonna be wiping and reflashing with the new version to see if my lag goes away
