Ok, i am reading the posts and since i am old school, there is not a whole lot that makes since, i know this much
radio= a music paying device
root= the bottom of a plant,
gingerbread= the bread type candy treat
flash= that bright as hell light before the camera snaps you ugly mug for ever
Now, i am pretty sure these are not the meanings you all speak of so, i come to you on my defeated knees. PLEASE Help me
All i want to do is use my thunderbolt, i have had the Droid 1, ok till the froyo push, the droid 2, piece of s^&t always rebooting and not i am with the TB. It is also alway rebooting. At least 5 times a day now.
I thought maybe having my apps set to auto update would be the cause, fixed that, still reboots. downloaded android system tool to see what is going on when it crashed, no luck, the data is erased after a recovery.
I need to know if there is an app that will track the background activity and retain a copy in memory for me to look. I want to know what is causing it because HTC and Verizon or useless. All they want me to do is factory resets.
Please help me anyone?

but in terms of the phone world you flash an OS to a phone. This can be done for several reasons here we are just flashing a to a different version of Android with tweaks done by the developer. You may also see people talking about flashing to a different carrier when browsing these forums that is flashing a version of the OS that will allow the user to use the same hardware on a carrier that does not carry the version of that phone. I've seen where people flashed the OG Droid to Cricket.
