Help Rooted Gingerbread Dialer Broken

Couldn't find this exact issue for the X on these forums.

Basically once I installed the latest rooted Gingerbread OS, my dialer won't work! It's like the same issue I had with LCD Density being too low, but I uninstalled LCD Density...

The issue I'm having is that I can open the dialer - even make phone calls from the dial pad, and see my contacts, but when I click on ANY of my contacts to call them (because most have multiple phone numbers to pick from), the Dialer force closes and goes back to the home screen. I've read all over the net with people experiencing similar problems, and most of them downloaded Dial One and their dialer worked... Mine did not work with Dial One. Same issue.

I'm thinking perhaps there is some bloatware I deleted that was integral to Dialer? What is necessary for Dialer to function correctly? If I didn't delete anything vital for Dialers' operation, does anybody know a workaround so I can use my Dialer again? It's pretty ridiculous having to look up phone numbers from an old fashion paper address book because I can't see my contact info :( .

EDIT: Seems to have something to do with the contacts. When I try to add a contact or do anything with the contacts at all, Dialer force closes. Which bloatware controls contacts for the dialer?

EDIT2: Got it working using GO CONTACTS with GO DIALER! I have no idea why stock dialer is broken in Gingerbread.
