How long will you keep your bolt?

I have an upgrade available starting in a month on my D2G line, hopefully by then the facts about the prime will be clearer than they are currently i.e. will there be bloat and touchwiz as I have seen mixed reports, I may opt for the vigor or hold off and sit on the upgrade to see what comes around next spring, If I can wait that long. I really want something with a bigger screen. If only they would come out with a 7 inch tab/phone on LTE that would be perfect ;)

If I had seen this thread a week or two ago I would have said as soon as I can to some big pretty piece of new tech! But In the past two weeks I have both gotten the extended battery and rooted, I really couldn't be happier with this phone right now! Sure I would love a dual core but I perfer sense and how familiar I have become to this phone to upgrading to the Bionic (my brother got it and I took one look and was like No Thanks!). I take awesome pics the screen is beatutiful and now that I have the extended battery I pretty much have a bigger phone than anyone else I know and that is awesome! Pretty much all the bugs have been worked out and I never really had many to begin with plus with the extended battery I dont have to worry about that either! Also THE KICKSTAND IS SOOOOOOOOOO AMAZING I cant even say enough about how much I like it I wouldn't want to go to a phone without one!!

Honestly I told myself for the longest time if a nexus ever came to vzw I'd HAVE to get it right away. However since I rooted I've absolutely fell in love with sense 3.0. Plus my phone runs smooth as ever now. Stock android seems kinda well... boring. What I'm saying unless a nexus comes to vzw and ICS is amazing then ill consider getting one. If not I think ill keep my bolt for as long as possible. Although I'm not sure I can make it the whole 2 year term

Probably ditching it at the 10 month mark. I need a device with a little more battery life, and a lot less bulk. My husband has an upgrade in January that ill probably be using for a BlackBerry 9930.

I love the large screen, the internet and widgets on this. But I just can't get used to the weight, poor battery life. No, I'm not going to root.

i'll be getting a new phone in march or april 2013. my contract is up in march 2013, so the best phone at the time or the best thing getting ready to be released at the time will be my next phone. the thunderbolt is my first "true" smartphone and even after 6 months, it is still the best thing out right now, so i don't believe it will be falling behind the new crowd too quickly. the only way i would ever consider upgrading early would be if there were a bunch of new features and apps that don't work on a rooted T-bolt, due to the phone's hardware being too weak/slow.
